Thanks for your continued support during a tough year.
Dear Push Mobility customers,
What a year it's been so far - COVID sure has made things interesting.
We know that it's been a tough year for everyone, that the past few months have been challenging, a time of uncertainty, stress and a lot of handwashing. We also know that that people with a disability have faced additional challenges during these strange times.
We've been committed to keeping Push Mobility open - much of the work we do cannot be done from home and we want to ensure that we continue to support Australians with a disability to be mobile and to maintain and improve independence.
In March we launched our own brand of disabilty focused sanitiser - Wheely Hand and Wheely Surface (powered by Zoono technology). We were overwhelmed with our customers' initial response to these products - and product moved so quickly! We've since increased our production and now have plenty of stock to see our customers through winter and beyond.
We also want as many Australians with a disability as possible to have the protection that our Wheely Sani products offer - so we're extending our 30% off sale until the end of July. Keeping your hands safe for up to 24 hours and your wheelchairs, surfaces and household items germ-free for up to 30 days.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 isn't going away anytime soon, and we want to ensure that all our customers and staff are safe and protected while we ride this pandemic wave. So we've recently updated our organisational COVID-19 policy - with a focus on safe shipping (please see full details below).
We know that people with a disability have a resilient nature, but please take care of yourselves out there and together we will push on.
Managing Director, Push Mobility.
Safe Shipping: Push Mobility staff will wear PPE when preparing, packing and shipping products and stock.
Safe handling: When repairing, demoing or fitting equipment, staff are to keep a physical distance from clients and wear PPE as appropriate. All equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between uses.
Visitors and contact tracing: All visitors to the Push Mobility warehouse and office must use our Wheely Hand Station upon entering and leave their details on our contact register.
Video appointments: We are now set up with facilities to run video appointments with clients. We understand that leaving home will be a challenge for many people during the next couple of months, so this will enable us to continue to improve mobility for our customers and meet your ongoing needs. If you would like to book a video appointment simply give us a call or pop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
In-person trials: We will continue to conduct in-person trials on a case by case basis. This will be subject to change, depending on government ‘social distancing’ measures at the time. Please call us or email us for more information.
Shipping equipment for trials: Due to the reduction of in-person trials, we are happy to ship demo equipment for customers to trial at home. This will allow people to continue to trial and obtain new equipment and maintain their independence.
Online orders: Online ordering will continue as usual. If you need tyres, tubes, casters or any wheelchair parts, simply order online and we will ship directly to you. You can even checkout using your NDIS. Video support: If you’re having trouble with equipment and require support, such as SmartDrive troubleshooting, backrest and adjustments and so on, we are here to help and able to provide assistance through video meetings.
