Hippocampe Beach Wheelchair - Alex Welsh
I actually just stumbled across the Hippocampe while I was on the Gold Coast last weekend when I used one from Burleigh surf club.
I found it to be the best beach chair for me as an active paraplegic because it was low so I could get out of it easily, and back in after I went for a swim.
I was also able to sit on the beach with my wife after a swim but didn't have to get back onto the ground because it was low enough (I'm not a big fan of sand all over me). I also like that I could self propel it a little bit and it was easy for my wife to push with the beach wheels on it.
The chair is pretty light so I can get it in and out of my van easily too. There's also not too many moving parts so maintenance is pretty minimal as well.

August at Push Victoria has been really busy with appointments and trials both at the showroom but also out and about!
Alex has servicing many wheelchairs and handcycles and went out to Mildura last week to see a client.
This trial was a great example of how we at Push go above and beyond for you, whether you live 5 minutes away or 5 hours away.
I was lucky enough to try out the Bowhead Reach RX last weekend with some friends of mine and it blew me away, adventures like this can quickly become a reality for you as well.

August has been another good month in Adelaide for the team here.
We've had a lot of product arrivals from our favourite suppliers like Bowhead and Stricker. Seeing products going out to their forever homes is great!
We also landed a big shipment of theFlow T Adaptive surf boardsand have seen a number of them heading out the door already, not long until the warm weather will be upon us! We've also had a shipment of Bike eRacks land with us from Canada too.
We've done some great product trials with customers and even dragged out our accounts team leader, Sam, to come and help out whilst our regular helper and mechanic, Mikey, is away working at the Paralympic Games.
September is Spring and we're excited for a month of good weather and good times!
August has been a month of travel up here in Queensland, we have seen people on the Gold Coast, Kingaroy, Toowoomaba and we have had a great guy (Jason) come down from Cairns to trial the Bowhead RX with quad controls.
It has been great to see people all over the place and help as many people as we can. We just received the new demoStricker Micro GXthat we are really excited about due to all the new features it has and it looks sweet too.
We still have plenty of great equipment here and ready to trial, this includes the Top End Force 3, Top End All Sport, Lasher ATH handcycle, Rove 3d printed titanium wheelchair, Hippocampe beach chair and the Bowhead RX handcycle with a para or quad setup.
Also with the end of winter it is always a good reminder to have your wheelchair serviced in preparation for the hotter and usually wetter months up here in QLD.
