Frequently asked questions.
How powerful is the SmartDrive?
The SmartDrive has a tremendous amount of power and torque considering the size and weight of the unit. Even though we suggest using your wheelchair and power assist on complaint ramps, the SmartDrive has the ability to cruise up the steepest ramps and sidewalks. Thick padded carpet is no problem for the SmartDrive.
How much can I customise my SmartDrive?
With the launch of the PushTracker the SmartDrive received an upgrade allowing the ability to adjust tap sensitivity, top speed, acceleration and drive modes. Changing these attributes is very easy setting the unit to best suit the ability and the confidence of each user.
Can the speed of SmartDrive be capped for less confident wheelchair users?
Yes! The SmartDrive can have the top speed capped at pretty much any speed. Once the owner of the SmartDrive becomes more confident we can increase this speed.
Do you offer wheelchair skills training?
